Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) Orkney and Skills Development Scotland are hosting the third Orkney Careers Fair on Wednesday 2 October 2024.

This event follows on from our successful events in 2018 and 2022 which were attended by over 60 exhibitors including employers, universities and colleges, local training providers and Support agencies.  In 2022, we welcomed over 900 visitors to the event, including all S4-S6 pupils from the local secondary and Junior High Schools, and some S3 pupils.

The Orkney Careers Fair 2024 will be held in The Arena, The Pickaqouy Centre, Kirkwall from 10am and will again be open to all S4-S6 school pupils, students from UHI Orkney and the general public.

This FREE event is a fantastic opportunity for you to engage directly with young people, their parents and the wider public to discuss the various career opportunities that exist in Orkney and the learning and training pathways available to help them achieve their chosen careers.

If you are interested in attending the Orkney Careers Fair on Wednesday 2 October 2024 as an exhibitor, please complete the below booking form and submit it to DYW Orkney by Friday 26 July 2024.

Please note, the Orkney Careers Fair is now fully booked.  However, interested businesses and organisations are welcome to complete a booking form to register their interest in attending.  If any stands become available, those on the waiting list will be offered the available stand on a first come, first served basis.
