What is #NoWrongPath?
#NoWrongPath is a social media campaign that aims to highlight that many people in interesting jobs didn't necessarily take a straight, obvious or traditional path to get there.
Held on the day that the Scottish exam results are released, Developing the Young Workforce groups across Scotland use the campaign to educate and inspire young people about their options regardless of the results they have received.

Get Involved
We would like to invite anyone from around Orkney - or Orcadians living further afield - to take part. Local businesses can get their staff involved and get them to tell the story of their career journey. All you have to do is:
Step 1
On Tuesday 5 August 2025, post a photo or video of yourself on social media holding a sign telling us what you did when you left school and where you are now. Remember to include the hashtag #nowrongpath and tag us (@OrkneyDYW) in it so we can share it with our followers.
Step 2
Nominate a friend or colleague and encourage them to get involved too.
