YOUR NEXT STEPS

Welcome to the Your Next Steps online careers event.

This event has been developed to provide you with more information about your options for moving into work, training or further education.  You may be still at school, college or university and thinking about what to do next, you may be currently looking for a job or you may feel you need some help and support to help you take the next step.  No matter where you are in your journey, you will find something here to help you.

The event is split into three sections:  Work, Support, Education and Training.  You will find more details of what each section covers below, but you will find a mix of videos, presentations and links to take you to websites with further information.  Just click on the 'Learn More' button to access take you into each section.

If you have any questions, you can speak to Careers Advisers with Skills Development Scotland, either in school or through the Careers Centre in Kirkwall.  If you are still at school, you can also speak to your Guidance Teacher.

We hope you find this event useful -  we would love to get your feedback to help us develop events in the future.  Once you've spent some time exploring the site, please let us know what you thoughts here.
