Job Applications

If you are planning on applying for a job, this section will give you advice, hints and tips for completing an application form.

Like a CV, an application form is a way for you to evidence the skills and experience you have that is relevant for the job you are applying for.  Application forms are a way for employers to get the same information from all candidates and then use that information to identify who to interview.  It may not always be possible for you to attach your CV to these application forms but you can use the information from your CV to complete the form.  You can find information about writing a CV and identifying your skills here.

Employers often ask applicants to provide a covering letter along with the CV when applying for a job.  You can read more about covering letters here.
