Jobs of the Week are back after a two-week summer break.

This week, we have your last chance to apply for opportunities with Scottish Sea Farms, Orkney Housing Association Ltd. and Orkney Fisherman’s Society – all of these opportunities close by early next week.  There is also an opportunity to work Front of House at Celina Rupp or undertake a part-time post as a Domestic Assistant with NHS Orkney.

Exam Results Helpline 2023

​Young people across Orkney will tomorrow (Tuesday 8 August) receive their SQA results.  If your results are not what you expected, don’t panic you still have options – and there will be experts on hand to help you navigate the next part of your journey.
 
From 8am on Tuesday 8 August, a dedicated Results Helpline from Skills Development Scotland (SDS) will run with Careers Advisers waiting to answer calls and offer advice, information and support to young people and their parents or carers.

It is Thursday again, so it must be time for Jobs of the Week!

This week’s opportunities include a trainee Finance Assistant post with OHAL, Modern Apprentice opportunities with Orkney College UHI and Northlink Ferries, and temporary roles with Historic Environment Scotland and Pristine Clean, which may suit someone looking to gain experience in the workplace.
