Applications are currently being invited from any young person who is interested in a work experience opportunity in the banking industry. HSBC have opened applications for their work experience programme, which offers a five-day experience to young people in the senior phase at school (S4-S6) or at College. The programme gives young people an insight into a professional environment as well as the banking industry. The programme will be a blend of both a virtual and a physical placement (where available), giving young people an insight into the future way of working. The programme will run virtually for four days, giving students an insight into the different roles and functions across HSBC, as well as improving personal and employability skills. Where a physical placement is possible, the student will spend the day getting hands on experience of what it is like working for HSBC. The programme will run on the weeks commencing: 20 June 2022; 4 July 2022 and 1 August 2022. The closing date for applications is Sunday 20 February 2022. Places are limited so apply as soon as possible. You can find out more by contacting HSBC’s work experience team on [email protected], and you can apply here.
