![]() A new Apprenticeship Employer Grant is being made available to employers who take on a Modern or Graduate Apprenticeship between December 2020 and March 2021. In response to the impact COVID-19 will have on opportunities for young people, the Scottish Government has made £15 million available to employers through the Apprenticeship Employer Grant (AEG). The AEG will help employers recruit new Modern or Graduate Apprenticeships to their business, or it can help upskill existing staff who have moved into a new role – as long as they moved into the new job within four months from the date of registration of the apprenticeship.
Funding will be available for eligible employers where the apprenticeship start date was on or after 1 December 2020. Funding will be available for starts until 25 March 2021, or until funding levels are exceeded, whichever comes first. For more information about the grant, and to view from Frequently Asked Questions, visit apprenticeships.scot, here. Comments are closed.
