![]() In the final of their series of interviews for Scottish Apprenticeships Week, BBC Radio Orkney have heard from a local woman who is undertaking a Graduate Apprenticeship. Anja Hall is currently undertaking a Graduate Apprenticeship in Business Administration through Robert Gordon University. She is employed by Orkney Distilling Limited, where she works full-time while studying for her degree. There are three levels of apprenticeship available in Scotland, including a Graduate Apprenticeship. Like a Modern Apprenticeship, Graduate Apprentices are employed full-time and gain their academic qualifications through work-based learning. The combination of academic knowledge and skills development enables apprentices to become more effective and productive in the workplace.
You can hear Anja being interviewed along with her manager and mentor, Katie Macleod here from around the 12 minute mark.
